Celebrating the 18th Anniversary, Serikat Pekerja of Pindad Invited Labor Unions of BUMN NDHI

A labor union of PT. Pindad (Persero) namely Serikat Pekerja (SP) celebrated its 18th anniversary at the Commemoration of SP Anniversary at Graha Pindad Bandung (07/31/19). The Anniversary commemoration was attended by the Director of Finance and Administration Wildan Arief, Director Heru Puryanto, chairman and members of the SP, representatives of labor unions at PT Pindad, as well as the representatives from State-Owned Enterprises (SOEs/BUMN) and NDHI (National Defense and High Tech Industry) in Bandung area.

The event began with a remark from the Director of Administration and Finance, Wildan Arief. Wildan congratulated SP on the 18th anniversary and hoped that the SP would grow greater and encourage Pindad employees to become more prosperous.

"I am grateful for the contributions of SP all this time. SP is very communicative, very kind, and always thinking forward. Please keep maintaining good communication with the management in order to improve the development of the company's business," said Wildan.

A representative of the labor unions of SOEs/BUMN and NDHI from PT DI, Andi Sofyan, also congratulated SP on the anniversary and the contribution that has been given to Pindad so far.

"Hopefully SP will be more enthusiastic to fight for the aspirations of the employees of PT Pindad. Hopefully the spirit of the labor unions in Pindad can be passed on to other BUMN labor unions. Labor Unions, Prosperous! ” stated Andi.

The highlight of the event was celebrated through a potong tumpeng session conducted by the representatives from SP and the SOEs/BUMN labor unions. Afterwards, all invitations had the opportunity to take part in a tour around Pindad facility and try special vehicles and weapons made by Pindad.

The event ended with a joint discussion between the labor unions at PT Pindad and representatives from BUMN and NDHI labor unions.

SP also organized a Blood Donation event as one of the 18th Anniversary Commemoration events on the same day. Held at PT Pindad (Persero)'s Training Center , this Blood Donation event successfully attracted the attention of PT Pindad employees who participated in donating their blood. This blood donation is intended as an action to show Pindad's care for others and act as an effort to make a useful contribution from PT Pindad.
