Change of Directors of PT Pindad (Persero)
Jakarta - On Tuesday, May 28th, 2019, a copy of the Decree of the Minister of State-Owned Enterprises (BUMN/SOEs) as the Company's General Meeting of Shareholders (GMS/RUPS) regarding the dismissal and the appointment of the members of the Board of Directors of PT Pindad (Persero) has presented at the SOEs Ministry Office, South Merdeka St. No. 13, Central Jakarta.
The event was opened by the Deputy Minister of Mining, Strategic Industry and Media (PISM) Fajar Harry Sampurno. Attended at the management level of PT Pindad, the President Director Abraham Mose and the other member of the board of directors. While also present was Deputy Chief Commissioner of PT Pindad, Maj. Gen. TNI (ret.) Sumardi.
The change of the board of directors is carried out based on the decree of the Minister of BUMN as the RUPS of the PT Pindad Enterprise listed in letter number: SK-103 / MBU / 05/2019 regarding the dismissal and appointment of the members of PT Pindad (Persero) enterprise.
The Director of Defense and Security Products of PT Pindad which previously held by Widjajanto was replaced by Heri Heriswan. He previously worked at PT Dahana (Persero) as the Director of Technology and Development.
He was born in Tasikmalaya, completed his S1 degree program at Yogyakarta Proclamation University, and completed his Master's program at Bandung Institute of Technology (ITB). He also awarded Satyalancana Karya Satya awards in 2003 and 2007 from the Government of the Republic of Indonesia.
Regarding the change the board of directors, the Deputy of PISM, Fajar Harry Sampurno reminded about the tasks and challenges of Pindad in the future. "With the change of members in this board of directors, Pindad is expected to be more advanced and the National Defense and High Tech Industry (NDHI) integration will be faster, and hopefully there will be no more duplication among NDHI enterprises," he explained.
PT Pindad expressed its gratitude for the dedication and contribution given by Widjajanto during his tenure as a member in the board of directors of PT Pindad (Persero) since November 25th, 2015.
