TNI Anniversary, President reviews the Anoa & Komodo tactical vehicle by Pindad

The President of the Republic of Indonesia, Joko Widodo, accompanied by the Vice President, KH Ma'ruf Amin, TNI Commander Marshal Hadi Tjahjanto, Kasad General TNI Andika Perkasa, Chief Marshal TNI Fadjar Prasetyo and Kasal Admiral TNI Yudo Margono reviewed the defense equipment exhibition after attending the 76th TNI Anniversary ceremony on Tuesday, October 5, 2021 at the Presidential Palace, Jakarta. The ceremony was held in a simple and limited manner by implementing strict health protocol standards considering that currently Indonesia is still hit by the Covid-19 pandemic.

A total of 35 units of Combat Vehicles (Ranpur) made by Pindad, various variants of Anoa and Tactical Vehicles (Rantis) of Komodo Mistral were also exhibited at this anniversary commemoration ceremony with other TNI defense equipment.

The TNI deployed a total of 112 defense equipment around the Merdeka Palace to be exact along Jalan Medan Merdeka Barat, Jalan Merdeka Selatan and Jalan Merdeka Utara, Central Jakarta.

Ranpur Anoa has been used by the TNI both in supporting operational missions at home and abroad to support UN world peace missions such as UNAMID (Sudan) as many as 24 units, UNIFIL (Lebanon) 20 units, MONUSCO (Congo) 2 units, and MINUSCA (Central Africa) 4 units. Meanwhile Rantis Komodo has also operated in MONUSCO (Congo) as many as 21 units.

The title of Alutsista is a form of embodiment of the current strength of the TNI and also as a report to the President of the Republic of Indonesia and the public that the budget given by the government to the TNI is one of them used to procure Alutsista needs to maintain the sovereignty of the Unitary State of the Republic of Indonesia from disturbances, obstacles, threats and challenges faced.
