Pindad Comes to World Bank 2018 Indonesia Pavillion IMF

CEO of PT Pindad (Persero) Abraham Mose attended the Indonesia Pavilion opening ceremony which was inaugurated by the Minister of SOE Rini M Soemarno, in Nusa Dua, Bali, Tuesday (10/09/2018).

Indonesia Pavilion is a vehicle that presents a number of Indonesia's achievements while introducing Indonesia during the event of the International Monetary Fund (IMF) Annual Meeting-World Bank 2018.

Abraham said the presence of Pindad in Indonesia Pavilion as one of the strategic industries could be an attraction for thousands of IMF-World Bank delegations, especially in the defense industry.

"The appearance of Pindad along with other Bumnis (Strategic Industrial BUMNs) in the Indonesia Pavilion as a form of synergy between SOEs to introduce Indonesia, especially in the 2018 IMF-World Bank event, Pindad will also sign an MoU with high investment value," Abraham said.

In Indonesia Pavilion, information about the company's achievements and developments is presented and packaged digitally and effectively. Delegates from 189 IMF participating countries - World Bank 2018 who visited this area will get detailed information.

On this occasion, Pindad presented several superior products in miniature form, namely Medium Tank, SPR 2, SS2 V4, Excava 200, Canon 90x 6x6 Rhinoceros, Anoa 6x6 Panzer.

Digital image media and videos are presented to show the development of the economy, infrastructure, development priorities and investment opportunities for investors.

Meanwhile, SOE Minister Rini M. Soemarno said the description of Indonesia's development presented in an area of 2,000 meters was to open the way for thousands of state delegations present at the IMF World Bank to get to know Indonesia's achievements.

Not only that, the Minister of SOE also invited investors to be part of Indonesia's development journey in various fields, economy, industry, infrastructure and tourism in the future.
