Expand Business, Pindad Signs Three MoUs at IBD EXPO 2018
PT Pindad (Persero) signed three cooperation agreements with other Strategic State-Owned Enterprises (BUMNIS) in an effort to synergize to expand its business in the 2018 Indonesian Business and Development Expo (IBD Expo) in Grand City, Surabaya, Wednesday (03/10/2018 ). First, cooperation with PT Krakatau Industrial Estate Cilegon (KIEC) which is a subsidiary of PT Krakatau Steel (Persero) Tbk.
Agreed cooperation agreements related to asset utilization for the development of PT Pindad's commercial facilities located in Bandung and Turen, Malang. "The use of assets for the development of commercial facilities is a strategic step in an effort to optimize the potential outside the main sector, namely military and industrial products," said Pindad CEO Abraham Mose.
In addition to the property sector, other partnerships were explored by PT Pindad with PT Barata Indonesia (Persero) and PT Boma Bisma Indra (Persero). The scope of cooperation includes two main points, namely cooperation in manufacturing diesel engine spare parts, fabrication and market development, and supply.
Not only that, to strengthen the spirit of BUMNIS synergy to build the country, Pindad also collaborated with PT Barata Indonesia and PT PAL Indonesia. They have agreed to form a consortium to participate in the auction and the implementation of the contract of Work of the 400 MW Mobile Power Plant Supply at PT. PJB with a term of agreement for 3 years since it was signed.
"The signing of these three work agreements is a concrete manifestation of PT Pindad in contributing to building the country and achieving the business targets that have been announced," said Abraham.
Abraham continued, at the IBD Expo event, PT. Pindad also presents the best products that have been produced. The aim is to increase the interest of visitors, and introduce the latest Pindad products to the general public. Pindad brought a variety of flagship weapons products including carrying Spr 4 (desert), Mag 4 (desert), G2 Elite, G2 Combat, Underwater Assault Rifles, SS 2 V1, SS 2 V4, SS 2 V5, and SPR3. In addition to weapons, there are 6 x 6 Anoa Panzer combat vehicles presented, and replicas of several products from industrial lines such as Excava 200. (Bani)
