PT Pindad (Persero) Participation at 2013 Rabinniscab 

PT Pindad (Persero) participated on 2013 Rapat Pembinaan Teknis Kecabangan (Corps Technical Coaching Meeting) or Rabinniscab. This event held on June 25^th-28^th 2013 at Pusat Pendidikan Kavaleri (Cavalry Education Center) or Pusdikkav, GA Manulang Street Padalarang, Bandung and also at each corps office. Wakil Kepala Staf Angkatan Darat (Vice of Army Chief of Staff) or Wakasad, Lieutenant General Muhammad Munir opened this event and gave some direction for the participants who came from various corps. 2013 Rabinniscab gathered about 708 peoples from 15 Indonesian Army corps such as Infantry, Cavalry, Air Defence Artillery, Indonesian Army Aviation, Zeni, Transportation, Equipment, Supply and Transport, Medical, Military Police, Aide-de-Camp, Topography, Legal, and Finance Corps.    

With theme “Through 2013 Rabinniscab, We Increase The Corps Technical Mastery To Establish The Professionalism Of Soldiers In Carrying Out The Basic Tasks Of The Indonesian Army”, Kepala Staf Angkatan Darat (Army Chief of Staff), General Moeldoko through his written acceptance speech hoped Rabinniscab would be a right forum for all of the corps technical boards at Indonesian Army to increase the mastery of weaponry and corps technique and could support the basic task of Indonesian Army. This event has a qualitative target, to increase the technical ability and corps tactic and improve the understanding of the cooperation between corps.

PT Pindad displayed some of weaponry system products at both of static and dynamic exhibition. On the static exhibition which held for two days, on June 25^th-26^th 2013, PT Pindad which joined with Infantry Corps, showcased about 30 items of products, ranging from Assault Rifles: SS2-V1, SS2-V2, SS2-V4, SS2-V5, SS2-V1 HB, and SS2-V1 HB; Grenade Launcher Rifles: SPG1-V1, SP3, SS1-V1+SPG1 V3, SS1-R5+SPG1-V3, and SS2-V1+SPG1-V4; : SPR-2 and SPR-3; Sub Machine Gun: PM2-V1 and PM2-V2; Machine Gun: SM2-V1, SM3, and QCB (Quick Change Barrel) Machine Gun; Handguns: P3, P5-01, G2-Elite, and G2-Combat; ; Mortar: MO-1, MO-2, MO-3, and Silent Mortar; some mock-ups: Small Calibre Ammunition, Mortar Grenade Cal. 60 mm Co, Mortar Grenade Cal. 60 mm LR, Mortar Grenade Cal 81 mm, and Silent Mortar Grenande; and the Combat Vehicles: Panser APC, Commando, Ambulance, Mortar, Recovery, Logistik, and also Tactical Vehicle Komodo.

Beside the static product exhibition, PT Pindad (Persero) also participated in practice demo which held on June 26^th 2013, at Chandradimuka field Pusat Kesenjataan Infanteri (Infantry Weaponry Center) or Pussenif, Bandung. This demo used the GMO 81 mm Caliber variant A1 and A2, SLT, and also the GMO 81 shooting from the Mortar Anoa Panser. PT Pindad staff, Jenal Abidin, gave the early explanation about the Mortar Grenade specification which will be used as one of the practice demo equipment support.   

After the initial demo done, one battalion after another tried in turn. At the end of practice session, Pussenif Commander, Major General Muhammad Nasir gave his directives about the importance of the “Man Behind The Gun” term, that every personnel should be able to operate the weaponry system properly. On this demo practice, he emphasized about the importance to determine the right viewfinder and adjust the barrel so that could shoot the target properly.   

Rabinniscab will be held on four days, until June 28^th 2013. For the first day, the event held centralized at Pusdikkav Padalarang, the next two days held at each corps, and the last day will held centralized again at Pusdikkav. (Anggia)
