Seismic Detonator

geoDETOSEIS Electric Detonator is greater than No. 10 strength as result of the compression of the base charge. Each fuse head of these detonators is protected with an insulating antistatic sleeve providing a spark gap. The triple crimping of the detonator shell ensure excellent water resistant characteristic. A pressure of 7 kg/cm2 can be resisted for 2 months. The colour code lead wires offer excellent resistance to abrasion and have a high tensile strength. The twinned wires are easy to handle and have a high degree of flexibility. The lead wires length for up to 12 m is indicated on a solid plastic tag moulded onto the lead wires. For greater lengths, the length is indicated on tape wrapped around the spool. Extreme of the lead wires are short circuited.

The ends of lead wires are short circuited. The fuse head being of a one piece construction meets aerospace standards.
Note that geoDETOSEIS electric Detonators may initiate if the lead wires touch the aerial of a radio transmitter (including mobile telephones). According to blasting procedures, ensure that radio transmitters are not allowed near electric detonators.
Recomendations for Use
goeDETOSEIS Electric Detonators incorporate sensitive element within the detonator. These elements can be initiated by heavy impact, friction or intense heat. Detonation should only be done by personnel who have been properly trained in safe and correct handling procedures. goeDETOSEIS Electric Detonators should be connected using connector or by twisting in approved manner. All connections are well insulated to avoid earth leakage or shortening. Before connecting to an exploder, circuits should be tested with a blasting ohm meter for resistance and continuity.
Packaging
goeDETOSEIS Electric Detonators are packed in UM certified cardboard case. goeDETOSEIS Electric Detonators can be packed, upon request, either in class 1.4S, UN classification with conforms with passenger aircraft transportation requirement, or in class 1.4B UN classification which conforms with cargo air transportation requirements.
