PT Pindad (Persero) at Indonesia-Japan Innovation Convention

Based on the well maintained diplomatic relationship between Indonesia and Japan for 55 years, held a innovation product exhibition titled 2012 Indonesia-Japan Innovation Convention (IJIC). This exhibition took place in Sasana Budaya Ganesha, Bandung in November 30^th until December 2^nd 2012.

This exhibition which themed “Innovation for Smart People” has some purposes. Beside to keep the relationship between Indonesia and Japan, this exhibition is also to promote many innovation products from both countries. About 60 companies from Indonesia and Japan participated in this exhibition and divided into some clusters, such as information and communication technology, sustainable energy, biotechnology and health, creative industries, transportation systems and infrastructure, materials, smart community and enterpeneurship, and policy.

PT Pindad (Persero) also participated in this exhibition by displaying some mock ups of their leading manufacturing product, such as the products from Industrial Machinery and Services Division;  40 kN ramp winch, steering gear, generator 3 MW, and motor magnet permanent 25 KW; and Forging and Casting Division such as E-Clip dan DE-Clip Rail Fastening.

Hopefully, with their participation on this exhibition, PT Pindad could promote their manufacturing products to Japanese public and be a part of Indonesian innovation that keep developing in the future.

This exhibition officially opened for public on November 30^th and closed on Desember 2^nd 2012. Beside the exhibition, held a seminar with a theme from the exhibition clusters. The keynote speakers were consist of the professional from various background such as a chairman from the leading companies, academics, and government agencies. (Anggia Susada Mantarlia)
