Working Visit The Team of Dirtekindhan to PT. Pindad (Persero)
The team of Director of Defense Industry Technology from the Ministry of Defense did a working visit to PT. Pindad (Persero) Friday, 19th. The group which led by Brigade General Sukimin, arrived in PT. Pindad at about 15.30 WIB and accepted directly by the Director of Weaponry System, Mr Slamet Irianto, some of the head divisions, and some staffs of PT. Pindad at RR Direktorat.
This visit means to check some of PT. Pindad’s original documents with the legal staffs of PT. Pindad. Beside of that, this visit is also to make sure about a coordination between the Ministry of Defense as the main user of weaponry tools and PT. Pindad as the industry who producing the tools.
Because of the law of Defence Industry no. 25 was being legalized by the legislative, the Ministry of Defence wants to know how far the capability of PT. Pindad to help the needs of defense and security army in Indonesia that planned should reach 50% according to the law.
The discussion ended on 17.30 WIB, signed by a souvenir which is given by Mr Slamet Irianto to Brigade General Sukimin. That day’s activities ended by a tour to see the production facilities directly, especially the Weapon Division and Special Purpose Vehicle. (Anggia Susada Mantarlia)
